"Field Trips"... For over twenty years and thousands upon thousands of kids, we have
worked with Schools, Scouts, Day Cares, and Summer Rec. Programs to provide both a fun and
educational experience at "Dry Gulch".  A didactic presentation on the science of gems and
minerals is given to the groups (if requested) by Sheriff Bill, who has over thirty years
experience.  Exciting games are played and prizes awarded! A break for either lunch or snacks (if
you wish to bring along) is built into the two hour block of mining time.
We Provide:

~Pouches to hold all the "loot"
Fees:
Our very 'low' cost for all this fun is $6
for each miner. A Minimum of 10
Miners!
Field Trips are not charged for the first
two hours of 'private mining time' as a
courtesy to schools and organizations...
however, if an additional (3rd) hour is
needed it is charged at $45.00
Note:
There is no charge for teachers or
chaperones... unless they too wish to
mine and re-discover their "child-like"
inner self!
State Sales Tax is manditory on the
total amount unless a tax exempt
number is provided in advance.
Recommended:
~Dress for the weather
~ Bring cameras, as
there are 'plenty'of
photo ops.
~ Parental permission
slips should suggest that
children bring a few
dollars, as we end each
field trip with 'the march'
up to the General Store:
"On The Rocks".
This provides a
memorable portion of
the experience and
offers both souvineers
and penny candy.

This is our way of providing a Courtesy Discount for the Schools, Scouts, Day Cares, Etc.
You must produce the tax exempt number at point of deposit and it must be "your"
(organization's) number! Absolutely NO substitutes!
Please Note: In the event of any type of cancellation, your deposit is non-refundable.  It is
held and applied (in full) to your re-scheduled event,  from the date of cancellation,
through and including one full season of the following year.
